The Israeli Air Force (IAF) Oron is a ground and maritime wide area surveillance aircraft developed by IAI using groundbreaking sensors and processing data. The multi-sensor aircraft is intended to provide Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities covering vast areas in real time in all weather and independently of visibility conditions. It is based on the commercial Gulfstream G550 business jet and includes several radar systems among other sensors. The first Oron aircraft was delivered to the Israel Armed Force on April 6, 2021.
